Woodlands Volunteer Day
Volunteer Woodland Conservation Day at Drayton Woods. 10.30-4pm
Come for all or part of the day.
You can choose from the following activities:
- Hedge laying - laying the boundary hedge to let the light in and encourage stronger growth for the young trees in the wood.
- Tree planting
- Bulb ( bluebells & woodland daffodil) planting
- Bird box inspection
- Willow pruning & hurdle making- if the willows have dropped their leaves by then
A vegetable soup, bread & cheese will be provided at 1pm.
Please bring any additional snacks if you wish
We will drink a toast to the trees at 3.30pm.
