Let's Grow

Spring is here, hurray! So its a great time to start things growing. Next Sat 27th is hedge laying at Diggers Field with Ian Macnab and he has some exciting news.....

Dear TTLers,
We are setting up an Allotment Association on a hectare of land on the edge of Langport. We need 20 members (£2 for membership) in order to get the scheme under way.

We are also getting growing skills with our next 10:10 event (after the Solar Picnic with Fuse on 4th April on Cocklemoor!) ......
TTL hosting the event at Merricks Organic Farm on Saturday 24th April between 1.30 and 4.00 pm to help and encourage more people in the community to grow their own vegetables. There will be a talk and demonstration for the ten most popular vegetables. Opportunities for seed and plant swops. Second hand garden tools and gardening books available.

A farm tour is planned and refreshments will be available. Children will be welcome to come with their families.
